One of the rarest and most expensive guitars from Fender's California Series, the Capistrano takes its cues largely from Martin, with a three-piece rosewood back, square shoulder dreadnought design, and herringbone-style binding. One of only two CA series Fender acoustics to feature a solid spruce top, the Capistrano doesn't disappoint, delivering great clarity, good projection, and a balanced tone that is clear and quite powerful. Also, unlike Fender's first foray into acoustic guitars in the '60s, the Capistrano has a set neck design for optimal resonance.
